Objective of the Workshop
The workshop is intended to equip participants with technical skills for creating institutional repository and website/blog for their own libraries with the following objectives:
To create awareness among professionals about open source technology & its application in library.
To make the library professionals technically sound so as to create IR for their library independently without any support.
To enable the library & information professionals to face the technological challenges related to DSpace and Wordpress etc.
And, to strengthen the society & professionals
Target Audience
The workshop is intended for Library & Information Science Professionals and LIS Students. Registration is limited to 30 participants on first come first serve basis.
